A warm welcome since the 14th Century, our traditional real ale pub has been a place for people to unwind and socialise for hundreds of years.

With a family friendly atmosphere you can enjoy everything from Quiz nights to live music or sporting events there’s something for everyone.

With three house ales, Durham brewery’s Prince Bishop Ale, Sharp’s Atlantic and the ever popular Black Sheep along with a regularly rotating guest you’re sure to find your perfect pint.  We also stock a broad selection on bottled beers, wines and spirits.

We serve classic pub food in the bar and lounge at lunch times and into the evening, we also offer a traditional Sunday lunch menu available from 12pm, due to it’s popularity booking ahead is advised.
